Supported client's due diligence team seeking to acquire a logistics company serving the petrochemical industry.  Provided detailed market and customer expertise and intelligence which supported the client's decision on the acquisition. 

Engaged as Project Manager on behalf of a private equity investor seeking to acquire a company servicing industrial clients, including clients in the petrochemical and refining industries.  Provided detailed analysis and recommendations based on market segment research and analysis, labor and salary studies, and overall project valuation and strategic viability.  

Engaged by several clients in early stage evaluations of potential acquisitions.

Engaged by a major European private equity investor as petrochemical expert for a potential acquisition of an advanced plastics recycling company.  Retained as part of the negotiating team with the acquisition target.  Provided client with recommendations impacting their decision on investing.  

Provided market and technical assessments for several clients looking to invest in advanced recycling.

Led the commercial activities for a team pursuing an on-purpose propylene project.  Secured technical licensing package; negotiated off-take and supply agreements, site selection.

Engaged by a major US refinery as Project Manager for several initiatives, including planning and managing the repurposing of assets at their main refinery (including managing subcontractors), and developing commercial alternatives for a underperforming refinery.  

Contracted by a data science company as a petrochemical market expert for their product development and rollout of a real-time petrochemical and refining economics model.  Represented the client at a major petrochemical conference and at several client meetings to promote their product.

Retained by a specialty chemical producer to identify alternative feedstock suppliers and negotiate supply contracts with refineries and petrochemical companies. Recommended measures to save client millions of dollars annually on feedstock spend.

Contracted by a non-chemical company to lead a highly confidential chemical sourcing initiative.  Prepared detailed reports on import/export of key raw material, key factors in the strategic evaluation of alternative.  Evaluated joint venture opportunities and provided strategic alternatives.   Presented client with alternatives to explore with detailed business targets. 

Consulted for a consortium of companies on the technical and commercial aspects of a carbon capture and sequestration project. Provided industry expertise and voice-of-the-customer feedback to the consortium.
